It's been a wonderful experience taking care of so many different breeds & species. I especially enjoyed getting to know Roger- He's a ball python, the first snake I've had the pleasure of meeting (and taking care of!). I wanted to get to know him better so he went for a walk with Major, a 90 pound Doberman. I’m sure the neighbors were a little surprised to see such a large dog on my right with a snake wrapped around my left arm! I look forward to more fun times with each and every one!

My own Menagerie of pets include: 3 Dogs 2 Aquatic Turtles Several Goldfish 7 (*Yes, Seven) cats! Past furry & scaly family and foster-members include: Hamsters Gerbils Wild Baby Bunnies a Guinea Pig a Rat and a Tortoise

I also have experience taking care of birds -- There were always at least two birds in our home while I was growing up- Cockatiels, Parakeets, Love birds, Finches, a Canary, and an Amazon Parrot to name a few. I also have a client with several birds including a Lorikeet, Rose-Breasted Cockatoo, Muloccan Cockatoo, Blue-Throated Macaw, and a Green-Winged Macaw which I’ve been caring for weekly since 2008.

Besides the birds, I also had the regular occasion to visit family on acreage in Missouri -- I spent two weeks each summer caring for their farm animals- Chickens, Pigs, Cows and Horses. Having been surrounded by animals my entire life, it just seemed natural to have a business that allows me to spend time with more pets (without bringing them home every night!)

I believe animals are the best judges of character - Let your pets decide if I am capable of caring for them! I think you'll have much happier pets when you're gone, and most importantly when you get back!
